What drew me to paint this cat was his eyes. The blue was mesmerizing and at that moment I knew he had a soul. Heaven is often depicted with animals in it, so why would animals have souls that go to heaven awaiting their friends and families just like us. Cat's eyes are what inspires me to paint cats. There is so much going on behind those eyes and I often wonder what they must be thinking. Although this is for sale, it is also an example of the type of detail and realism I put into my commissioned pet portraits and what you could expect from hiring me to paint your pet. Please contact me at [email protected] if you would like to discuss having one of my paintings of your very own pet.
